Sales Engineer

We are looking for a qualified Sales Engineer to play a critical role in the pre-sales and post-sales process and to help new customers capture the full potential of CoSoSys’s platform. As Sales Engineer, you will combine your technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, and creative problem solving to drive customer + revenue growth as well as customer onboarding success. You’ll help with pre-sale and post sale activities, analyzing requirements and identifying solutions. Sales Engineers are a part of the Sales team and work closely with CoSoSys’s Engineering and Product teams. You will work cross-functionally to develop solutions, identify product enhancements, and build internal processes that scale.
Requirements:
  • Passion and drive to contribute to a high-growth organization
  • The ability to operate in a resource-constrained environment that requires individuals to wear multiple hats
  • 2+ years experience as a Sales Engineer and/or Technical Account Manager, ideally at a Security software company
  • Experience with data loss prevention software
  • An ability to gasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
  • World class communicator with excellent sales instincts
  • The ability to thrive both in a collaborative and independent work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Responsibilities:
  • Be the technical expert in the room during late-stage, pre-sales conversations
  • Play an active role in the sales and onboarding process: build and present custom demos, respond to technical objections, establish mutually agreed-upon onboarding plans, and act as a resource for new customers during onboarding
  • Train new customers to use the suite of products effectively
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Account Executive during all points of the sales process
  • Document all customer interactions in CRM
  • Help Customer Success team prepare and/or conduct business reviews for key customers
  • Analyze customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements
  • Provide Product & Engineering team with your and customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or products
  • Establish best practices for the Sales Engineering role
