Endpoint Protector 2009
All features such as managing devices, users, computers, group policies and rights can be configured and administered through the intuitive web-based interface of Endpoint Protector. The Dashboard offers a comprehensive overview and allows fast and efficient administration.
The latest logs show you what users have made use of what devices and what action Endpoint Protector took. Has a device been blocked and a possible data theft been prevented or did the device receive permission to transfer data. Complete log entries are available in the "Report & Analysis" section for a detailed analysis.
System alerts notify the administrator by e-mail of all relevant alerts. Alerts are individually configurable. Recently added devices, computers and users inform about up to date activity.
See at a glance what users are the most active. File specific functions like whitelisting, tracing or file shadowing keep control over where your data goes. With one click you will know what user is connecting the most devices, who is transferring the most data and thereby identify, control and prevent what can happen to your data.
Endpoint Protector client protects PCs and Macs that are within the company network or on the road (offline). The latest security policy is applied to keep data safe.
In case a user needs to transfer files to or from a portable device the administrator can be given for a period ranging from thirty minutes to one month authorization via a offline authorization code.
The notifier of the Endpoint Protector client if set to be visible provides users with e-mail and phone contact info from administrators and shows connected devices and last server connection time.
