Step-by-Step Setup for Endpoint Protector for Mac OS X
| Create an account for My Endpoint Protector. If you didn’t create one yet you can do it here. |

| Activate your My Endpoint Protector account by clicking the activation link from the confirmation e-mail you have received. | |
After activation you will receive your unique ID for My Endpoint Protector. You can also view your unique ID by login into your My Endpoint Protector account. The unique ID is mentioned in the upper right corner of the Start Page and under My Account > Profile Details.![]() |

Download the My Endpoint Protector client installation file. You can download it from within the My Endpoint Protector account.![]() |

| Run the My Endpoint Protector Client (MyEndpointProtectorClient.pkg) installation file. | |
| Follow the steps in the installation. | |
Insert your Unique ID during the installation process when asked. The Mac you are installing the My Endpoint Protector client on needs to have an internet connection to complete the installation. If the Mac has a firewall installed the firewall settings need to be set to allow My Endpoint Protector to access the internet and to act as a server.![]() |

After finishing the installation the Mac will appear as online Computer in the My Endpoint Protector interface.![]() |

| If you have a subscription for My Endpoint Protector the subscription will be assigned automatically to any new connected Mac. If you do not have a subscription yet for My Endpoint Protector you can purchase it here. |
